We are aware that managing the maintenance of our homes can be very overwhelming at times. There is always something to clean! Because of this, we have uncovered that the easiest way to manage & maintain a clean home is through organization, consistency, & a realistic cleaning schedule.
Cleaning does not have to be a task that takes up the entirety of your day or that needs to be done every single day of the week. If that were to be the case, when would you have the time to do other things? Like, work, parent, or simply live your life?
When we created our cleaning schedule, we took all of that context into account. We have also discovered that staying consistent with a cleaning schedule has made it easier for us to host any guests or be prepared for any unexpected visits. Our anxiety minimizes tremendously because cleaning & organizing our home has already been taken care of thanks to our realistic calendar.
These minuscule daily cleaning tasks are necessary, only taking a few minutes to complete. Do your best on staying consistent with these & you will find yourself avoiding piles of clothing, dishes, & all of the miscellaneous stuff. You will also minimize your workload on days that you do have to do laundry & deep clean your home.
